Andreas Huyskens

At his first gallery exhibition Andreas Huyskens will show his new body of work. During the last two years he worked on a series of portraits of his friends.

In his way of painting Andreas Huyskens is part of a group of young German figurative working painters based around Germany.

Andreas Huyskens was born in 1973 at Niederrhein/Germany. He lives and works at Cologne. 1995 - 1998 he studied at the Academies of Urbino (Italy) and Granada (Spain). Since 1999 he studied painting at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and finished in 2004 as a „Meisterschüler” of Prof. Siegfried Anzinger.
