A visit to a solo exhibition offers the opportunity to immerse oneself in the universe of a single artist's personality, retrospectively in the oeuvre as a whole, or very topically in a new group of works.
The attraction of a group exhibition, on the other hand, lies in the coexistence of many different works of art. It is precisely in the comparison, in seeing them together, that specific artistic modes of expression are revealed to the viewer particularly well in the current exhibition, and at the same time general questions emerge. What are the concepts behind the works? What strategies are employed in their realization? What is the significance of chance in the process of finding a picture, and what is the significance of precisely following self-imposed rules? How do the artists balance emptiness and fullness?
I look forward to finding answers to these and more questions with you in the exhibition.
Unfortunately, the gallery is closed until probably March 7 due to the new Corona Protection Ordinance. I hope you will get a chance to visit the exhibition after that.
Until then, I would like to invite you to take a look at the exhibition on our homepage.
For questions about individual artists and works I am available by phone and email. I will be happy to send you further visual material.
